Completed an Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, by Faculdade de Medicina (Veterinary Medicine University) at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (Lisbon Technical University) in 2010, in a path during which he accumulated experience with curricular internships in Production of Chickens, Turkeys and Quails and in Quality Control of Industrial Units, in the HACCP Interaves, S.A. Plan.
Completed professional training in Bird Protection at Breeding Sites, in 2012, at Zona Verde Formação e Consultoria; in Good Practices Code in Poultry Breeding, in 2014, by Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal; and in Techniques and Standards for the Protection of Animals at the Time of Slaughter for Those Responsible for the Welfare of Animals at the Poultry Slaughter Units, in 2014, by the Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal.
Between 2007 and 2010, he was Production Manager (business area: turkeys) at Socampestre. Since 2010, he has been General Director at Interaves, S.A., a company included in a reference group in the Portuguese poultry sector, with an average production of 200.000 chickens per day. Collaborates with INTERPEC and PLANAGRO in the execution and monitoring of international poultry projects. |
